Digital Key Plus uses ultra-wideband (UWB) technology with a high safety standard and works in just the same way as a traditional key fob. So if you are nearby, and your phone is in your pocket or a bag, it will unlock your MINI automatically - and then lock it again when you leave.

MINI INTELLIGENT PERSONAL ASSISTANT.
A full-featured voice assistant has found its way into the cockpit of the MINI models for the first time. The MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant can be activated using the greeting “Hey MINI” or by pressing the push-to-talk button on the steering wheel. Voice-controlled interaction on the circular OLED display takes the form of an animation featuring graphical elements, typography and an avatar.
The MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant operate key functions of your MINI, like the navigation, telephone, the radio or even control the temperature. Maybe there’s something you need to know about your journey. The weather. Or you have a special request. Even if it’s just for a little chat, or you want to hear a joke.

BUILT FOR SUSTAINABILITY.
Sustainability is in the DNA of BMW Group Plant Leipzig. In 2013, four wind turbines were erected and deliver 20 GWh per year. And the second milestone came in 2017, when the battery storage farm went on stream. Equipped with up to 700 second-life high-voltage batteries, it offers interim electricity storage for energy from the wind turbines and elsewhere, helping to optimise local energy management and stabilise the grid.
ALL NEW ELECTRIC MINI COUNTRYMAN is locally emission-free mobility. It includes dispensing with all chrome decorative elements in the exterior and interior as well as manufacturing the light alloy cast wheels from up to 70 per cent secondary aluminum. The cabin uses recycled materials and vegan leather, fully demonstrating the environmental friendly mission.
